Clinical Hypnosis

I am a post graduate clinical hypnotherapist from London College of Clinical Hypnosis and Thames Valley University, now University of West London, and I have been awarded membership of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. I graduated with distinction from Thames Valley University and have worked to achieve excellence in my practice ever since.

Hypnosis strenthens the body-mind connection, by bringing into conscious awareness the thought processes, beliefs and habits that lie in out unconsious. At a physical level, hypnosis is shown to be beneficial in boosting immune system, managing pain and psychosomatic illnesses such as for example IBS. Hypnosis also assists weight loss, giving up addictions such as smoking or nail bitting, dealing with phobias, panic attaks, public speaking, patterns of unwanted behaviour, stress and insomnia. Hypnotherapy helps with the birthing process.

A great benefit of hypnotherapy is that it can help you find and pursue your life purpose, how you want to live your life, by giving you focus, determination and increased healthy self estime and self belief.

I have specialised in therapeutic past life regression, where not only you have the opportunity to experience past lives, but integrate the lessons and experiences into the present life and strengthen yourself from the inside.

I have specialised in managing weight loss with hypnosis through further training and practical experience. I have devised a four session hypno-slim programme aiming at changing lifestyle habits and achieving a balance diet through changing the mindset with regards to food.

It is recognised that with some of the above issues can be just habits or a reaction to a deeper emotional issue, which may be the real cause of the unwanted behaviour.

What to expect in a clinical hypnosis session:

Clinical hypnosis in therapy has nothing to do with staged hypnosis for entertainment purposes. In a hypnotherapy session, you will be feeling deeply relaxed but you may not be completely asleep. You will be able to hear everything and even stop the session, should you feel uncomfortable, as you will be in control. However, in most cases, one is enjoying the relaxation state so much that they are unlikely to wish to stop this. Most people love it and do not want to be brought back! This type of hypnosis in therapy is not sleep. Although your consious mind may or may not remember what happens during the session, your unconsious mind will be in control and will only accept the suggestions that are beneficial to you and your wellbeing in general.

How many sessions?

For some issues, such as giving up smoking, one session is enough, however, in most cases, you will need an average of 3- 4 sessions and also the occasional future session for maintenance. The best results my clients had was when they undertook therapy based on three- four sessions, one every fortnight,
